5 Champions I May Never Play Again

There are over a hundred champions in League of Legends, and I love 4-5 of them. Nidalee, Thresh, Bard, and Vayne are all personal favorites. After the favorites there are a larger group of 10-20 champions I enjoy playing every now and then. Aside from those champions I don’t particularly feel one way or another about the remaining champions – except the 5 listed below.

Each champion in the game feels and plays in their own unique style. I tend to enjoy split pushing top laners, farm heavy junglers, and play making supports. I’m not so good at playing mages, or any laner who has trouble dueling. These 5 champions I’ve listed below are champions I don’t enjoy playing at all. I may never play them again.

Singed

Singed looks like a lot of fun to play when I open up Sirchez’s stream. He’s running around with 200+ CS and teleporting into team fights to cause chaos. I like both of those things, but neither of them happen when I lock in Singed.

I admit I my experience from Singed comes from maybe 2-3 games total across the years I’ve played the game. Most champions on this list are champions which I have written off completely before granting them a fair chance. I’m okay with that.

Sona

I don’t get Sona. I know she does a ton of damage to me when she is on the enemy team, but that’s about it. For some reason I can’t maintain my concentration without yawning uncontrollably moments after loading into a game as Sona.

The only thing I like about Sona is her ultimate. AoE ultimates are always fun, so that’s barely even a Sona compliment. There are so many better supports than Sona. I don’t understand why anyone would want to play her in the current meta, or ever again.

Aurelion Sol

The whole ‘create a stun the size of mid lane’ thing is gimmicky. Nothing about this champion makes me want to try him out. Aurelion Sol is the champion you let your little brother play so he can pretend he’s contributing something.

Comet of Legend (E) is the ability Riot slapped on him when they realized how boring the champion they just created was. Let’s make him fly! Flying’s fun, right guys?

Evelynn

The entire reason I will never play this champion again is because the initial jungle clear is too scary for me. I don’t have the guts to live on the edge like that every game. The alternative is cheesing it up by invading the enemy jungle after 1 jungle camp (or no jungle camps), but I’m not ready to go all-in so early in the game.

You May Like

Maybe I’ll play Evelynn again sometime in the future, but never two games in a row. She’s one of those champions for me; the kind you may dabble in, but never two games in a row.

Heimerdinger

Heisendong is a one-trick Challenger level Heimerdinger player. Living the dream.

Heimerdinger mains have something special in their DNA that I seem to be missing. Initially setting up camp in a lane with 3 turrets doing my dirty work sounded awesome. It’s not. Some people, like Heisendong, can pull off a mean Heimerdinger. I am not one of those people.

I will say pulling off the double kill when the enemy ganks you is something everybody should experience at least once. Very satisfying.
