After hosting a five day scouting grounds event, Schalke 04 has finalized their preseason roster, bringing on board four fresh faces and retaining a familiar top laner.

Incumbent top laner Etienne “Steve” Michels will return to his position, having held it down since he came over with the rest of the Elements in May.
He will be joined by Benjamin “Visdom” Ruberg Larsen, Jørgen “Hatrixx” Elgåen, Ian “NightSniper” De Schepper and Rudy “Rudy” Beltran, who saw time with Unicorns of Love and Huma this past season.

The five will come together and compete in the upcoming GeoForce Cup and mark the beginning on S04’s attempt to return to the European LCS. The organization fell through relegations after losing to both ROCCAT and Misfits in their inaugural split.
