Ethics Policy

The world of esports has its fair share of shady businesses, individuals, and websites.

We think Esports Edition is different. We’re committed to helping bring esports out of the ‘Wild West’ era by modeling business practices that are not only focused on bringing you, our readers, quality content, but ensuring that we do so in a way that’s ethically sound and in line with our core values.

That’s a complicated way of saying a lot of things. If you’ve read this far, we want you to know the following:

  • Our opinions cannot be bought. We do accept advance and/or review copies of games, hardware, software and/or other products, but if a company chooses to provide us with these items, they should do so knowing that we will publish an honest and unbiased review of them.
  • We will never knowingly maintain a business relationship with those who use or have used cheats in competitive multiplayer titles for financial or personal gain.
  • We will never promote or encourage underage gambling.

There’s more to our code of ethics than this. This document is not comprehensive and will be revised in the near future.
