Top 5 Supports in League of Legends – Patch 5.11

-1.1k

5. Nautilus

Nautilus is a very basic champion that can easily take over the early game. His ability to pull, stun, knockup, and slow enemies helps greatly for your ADC to get ahead. Nautilus’s ultimate knocks up a targeted enemy and stuns them. This ultimate can be very helpful in team fights when targeting the opposing team’s carries.

4. Annie

Annie is a powerful support that has the potential to put out just as much damage as her ADC in the mid game, depending on how you build her. Annie’s stun can be very helpful, early and late game, to get the first lead in a fight, or to escape a fight that didn’t go as planned. Annie’s ultimate is Tibbers, a large bear that comes out of the ground dealing damage to any enemies within range. It then chases the enemies until it is killed. Tibbers can be helpful because he counts as a minion, which means he can tank for you if you’re taking a tower.

3. Thresh

Thresh is a very popular pick for low and high leveled players. I mean, who doesn’t like pulling enemies!? Many people know Thresh for his pull but he can do so much more. Thresh is more of a mid game champion. Although he does not do a lot of damage he can help his team get around and control enemy players in team fights. Thresh’s ultimate is a pentagon that pops up around him. If the enemy walks over any one of the walls they get slowed.

2. Nami

Nami can help a team out a lot in a fight. Her ability to engage in team fights and flee from them is amazing. Nami can single out targeted enemies with her bubble and give off health and buffs to teammates. Nami’s ultimate pushes away enemies but can also knock them up. By knocking up enemies, Nami’s team has a chance to jump on them while they are in the air. Nami is a very strong support in the early game because of her ability to buff her ADC. If you are looking for a support that can carry your team through games, Nami is the one.

1. Janna

Janna contributes greatly to team fights. As a support champion, she is able to do almost everything. Janna is able to gain movement speed, slow enemies, throw back enemies, heal players on her team, and knock up. She can be extremely useful throughout the game because of her ability to always be buffing her team and debuffing the other team. If you are looking for your next support, Janna is the one for you. She is easily one of the most powerful supports at the moment, and because she is pretty easy, she is very fun to play if you are looking to get into supporting.
