Top 5 Mid-Laners in League of Legends – Patch 5.13

5. Ahri

Ahri has a decent laning phase and a high pick potential. She is good at assassinating enemies and has decent wave clear. Her “Q” makes her ungankable because of the movement speed and she is good at picking off carries in team fights due to her charm. Ahri’s kit is full of skill shots, this makes her slightly challenging. If you are good with skill shots, you may just find Ahri a successful pick.

4. Azir

Azir is very hard to kill in laning phase, he has good wave clear and a beast late game. Azir has high AP ratios and can easily keep the enemy at a far. Azir is one of the harder champs to play, but if mastered can be the enemy’s nightmare.

3. Viktor

Viktor is one of the strongest laners in the game at the moment. He has strong wave clear, great instant burst, good zoning with “W”, and good AP ratios. He gets a free item when he starts that allow him more power, and he has great base scaling. He is a hard champion to learn but can be mastered with practice.

2. Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate is a great Mid Laner. He has a pretty much global ultimate which can set up for ganking other lanes or chasing down an enemy, good poke, decent wave clear, and a good pick potential. Twisted Fate is strong in the early and mid game. His power can be carried into the late game if he doesn’t fall behind.

1. Runeglaive Ezreal

Coming in at number one is Runeglaive Ezreal. Runeglaive Ezreal plays a safe early game with great AP ratios. He is a pokey assassin mage and has great long range poke. Runeglaive gives AOE clear, which helps Ezreal through the laning phase. This playstyle is pretty straight forward and can be played by any skill level.
